The Process
Assessment
Our whole-body approach aims to treat the specific problem, not just the symptoms. We are interested in long-term solutions. Our chartered physiotherapists are specialists in injury management and injury prevention for a wide range of patients including elite sports athletes. Our services include diagnosis, exercise prescription, various treatment techniques and ongoing support in your recovery.
Treatment
Through scientifically backed hands-on treatment techniques and movement training, we reduce pain, improve movement and reduce risk of injury in future. We help you implement exercises and rehabilitation to fit your busy lifestyle and provide expert advice on how to get the best from your body in sport and in life.
We take a Patient-Centred Approach – There is no cookie-cutter solution. With Fixit you receive treatment that’s centred around your life and the things that you need and want to be able to do each day.
Education
Our aim is to always help you understand why you have pain or injury and the reasoning behind any exercises or treatment we ask you to do. Our approach helps you to develop the skills to manage injury for the long term so you don't have to keep coming back. Your treatment programme, while treating your pain, will also help you to achieve your exercise, health and performance goals.
Home Rehab
We send you professional rehab tutorials for everything you’ve been asked to do at home, so it’s like having a physio right at home with you. After your rehabilitation you will have a good understanding of what is required to return to exercise or play competitive sport and the skills to manage your recovery in future.
The Next Step
Unlike any other physiotherapy clinic, our input doesn't end after you you are free of pain. We want you to continue to get the best from sport and from life, feel strong recover quicker, prevent injuries and feel confident and strong rather than seeing a physiotherapist every week! Instead of battling your back pain or your knee trouble in later life, you could start attending our small group personal training or do a course of personal training sessions! If you have any pre-gym nerves, we have absolutely brilliant coaches to guide you every step of the way.
We guide you through your treatment plan from start to finish and beyond, sending you professional videos for your rehab at home, providing advice for day to day activities and setting up long-term solutions so the issue doesn't come back.

FAQs
How long does a session Last?
Your initial assessment will last 45 minutes and follow up review sessions will last 30-45 minutes.
Will I get treated on my first session?
The important part of your assessment will be to get your story and a thorough assessment to build your treatment plan from. If time allows for a little treatment at the end we will get started.
How many sessions do I need?
After your assessment, your Fixit Physiotherapist will give you an indication of how long your treatment plan will last based on your individual requirements. Some patients choose to continue their regular appointments beyond their treatment plan with our Physio-led Personal Training.
Do you offer online physiotherapy?
Yes. Check out The Online Physio Tab.
What do I bring for my session?
Bring comfortable athletic clothing. We ask that you wear shorts, if possible, and a sports bra or vest top for women.
How is Fixit different from other physios?
We take a whole-body approach that accounts for your lifestyle and previous injuries and provide graded exposure treatment plans that target the source of the problem for the long-term fix rather than just treating the symptoms. We progress you to high level movements in our high-performance facility to make you more resilient to injury than ever before.
What Training do Fixit Physiotherapists have?
Our therapists are Chartered physios with Bachelor of Science degrees, registered with the Health and Care Professions Council. For our physios this is only the beginning and they between them they have thousands of hours of CPD and training across many different courses in the field of physiotherapy, sport science, Pilates, strength coaching and more.

“Just finished my physio with Phil, amazing results after years of pain in my hip. I have a quality of life back and can move pain free again. Such a talented guy and very in tune with his clients for what they need.”
