Do I Need an MRI?

That's right, getting up and moving your body is one of the best things you can do to help alleviate pain and promote healing. Exercise can help to strengthen the muscles surrounding an injury, improve range of motion, and reduce inflammation.

Of course, there are cases where an MRI may be necessary. If you're experiencing "red flag" symptoms such as unrelenting pain, severe weakness, or loss of bladder or bowel control, it's important to seek medical attention right away. In these cases, an MRI can be helpful in identifying serious underlying issues.
